please could u tell me what a gerb is and what it dose

and maybe how to make one

Does anyone know if there is a difference between a Gerb and a Fountain?. I always assumed they were the same thing until reading Weingarts 'Pyrotechnics' where he gives different formulas for Gerbs and Fountains.

From what I've gathered, the difference is really in use, not production. Fountains are traditionally stand alone devices, while gerbs are traditionally attached to wheels or set pieces.
