This is what happens when people push and push against fireworks. Standard just could not survive like that. Great company, when I was young, their parent black cat , made a really good selection box, step dad brought it home one night, we had tea and it was so amazing some of the stuff. Of course I was under ten but still, i loved it.

Maybe when the UKPS members 'factory/site' is up and running, we could all look further into a UKPS 'commercial factory' to make and market the sort of fireworks we all loved as kids. Possibly with a giant "Genuinely made (not just labelled) in good ol' Blighty" label on each one.

That'd be superb, cat 2/3/4 fireworks designed and made by people who actually give a sh*t about the effects they produce, instead of filling the space in every one with crackling microstars. We definately, as a community, all have enough collective knowledge to pull it off (with style, might I add!!!) :D

As most of you know, nearly the entire manufacturing site at Crosland hill has been demolished. I think it is important to preserve or at least capture on film what ever is left, for example the remaining sheds, any old labels or the fireworks themselves. Is anyone within a reasonable distance of the site and is able to undertake such a task. Alternatively does anyone have any connections with people that work there and able to negotiate a visitor being allowed special access.

Thanks Doug

Stupid dog owners and whining old ladies spoil the fun for people.
