I got a call today from the TV company which filmed one of our shows this summer. Apparently they have finished editing it and are going to send me a tape next week. He said it looks great and is going out in November.

If anyone here has the technology, time and interest to get some clips off it and post them up then you lot would get a chance to see what we do.

OOH OOH PICK ME PICK ME!! I would love to do that, that is ofcourse if you want to send a tape to aussy-stralia. Im a kid with no life, Ive got plenty of time to waste doing that and I practicaly have a mini video studio in my room, I used to make riding videos for my mates.

Hi gor, would be able to help you here and post up some clips, but i am prepared to go one step better and make a vcd or optionally in divx of the display and send it out to all the active members that want it for free of course,or for those with broadband I will pop it on my ftp for downloading (in divx).

Matt, what kind of riding videos? MX, quads? and by the way the videos would be sweet.

Errrr...having been born in the stone age I have no idea of what vcd or divx are, nor do I know yet how long it will be in total, nor whether I look a total tw*t. Perhaps I should have waited before starting this post but I was too excited

Perhaps Nick you could transfer it to something digital and matt could be chief editor and take some clips out of it??? Do you have broadband matt?

I went to a village fair this afternoon (no fire swinging this time), but I did meet up with someone who works for a big organisation with some land, which by curious coincidence is next to a house I have just bought, so perhaps finally I can get a show together around here and invite some of you.
Perhaps in the new year.

a vcd is in basic terms like a dvd but more of a vhs type quality, the video would be captured into a digital format then it can either be compressed into a avi file using divx compresion or burnt to a normal cd in vcd format which would play on most pc's or home dvd player.

divx is currently the best dvd movie compression available, cram a 2h 720*480 movie into 1gig
Where are the matches?

Pyromx, Thats believable, im no fan of dave mirra though. Gor, I think you should give this task to Nick, Im sure he has better plans than me plus he's closer to you. I'll just wait till he starts dishing out those vcd's to see it.

Just got it.

Its quite fun but less than a minute long (how they turn 1/2 hr show into 1 minute is amazing). I guess a minute is a long time in TV land. For anyone who gets meridian its apparently going out on 17th Nov.

The only problem with sending it somewhere is knowing that it will get there. so I might see if someone here in Stroud and get it into a digital format and will find a way to post it up here.
