Fellow Pyros,

I was able to get some aluminum turnings (kind of like curly ribbons, about 1/4" wide, about 1" long) and I would like to turn it into coarse powder (about 10 mesh). Any way to do this?

Thanks, as always!
And the priest shall take from the cereal offering its memorial portion and burn this on the altar, an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD.
(Lev 2:9)

--seems to me that if God likes the odor of burnt cereal, He's just gotta love gunpowder...

Well, there are only two practical ways:
-ball mill it
-bash it in a resistant bag (plastic bags aren't going to work here, maybe some king of stomping action and a (metallic) rod (baseball bat) in a deep pot would work.

If your Al turnings are crumbly like mine are, these methods would work.
Oh, and don't forget a set of screens.
