Wells News - Take a look!

Now no laughing! I've been honing my Blue Peter skills & building a scale model of the current proposed layout. It will help visualise things & particularly help the artist doing our artists impression. I will probably bring it along to the AGM.

A brilliant way to set the mood for the era, with what looks like water colours and please give the artist a pat on the back from me.
I like the telegraph poles they add to the scene and fit in well, didn’t someone from around here have have a hobby collecting antique telephone equipment?

Quick update on this. Arthur Brown and myself visited Amberly today to check up on the condition of the huts.

Good news: they are still in surprisingly good condition !!

Bad news: they still need a home and manpower to move them there !!

Any volunteers and/or suggestions ??

Happy to help with manpower when possible. No new ideas on where to move them to though

Discussions along those lines have been underway recently, along with some other locations, but no positive news as yet.

I believe it didn’t get of the ground, it would need to be a commercial venture and that costs a lot.

I don't know what happened to the money that was raised by donation.

The sheds were in a pretty dilapidated condition probably hardly worth saving. It's a shame that it didn’t happen.
