You may have seen the first episode of the new BBC2 series 'The Victorian Pharmacy'.

If you tune in to episode 4 (29th July I think) you may see Steve Miller & myself showing them how to make fireworks & matches respectively.

On the other hand, we might be all over the cutting room floor!

Steve got it through his FX business & invited me along, as they wanted someone who knew a bit about match chemistry.

They also wanted a 'Victorian' firework display for the series finale, which Steve arranged. I helped him set up and acted as safety officer. Watch out for his excellent lancework portrait of Queen Victoria!

According to the closing footage in episode 2, it looks like you and steve have avoided the cutting room floor!

Seems so!

Owing to sporting coverage, looks like our episode will probably go out on 5th August...

I'd like to thank my mother, my agent, all my family, my school chemistry teacher...

Seriously though, thought we came over pretty well & it was a bit of good publicity for UKPS on main steam media.
