At risk of hogging the thread, I've just seen a list with igniters starting at 25p each. OK add VAT and carriage and buy thousands.

why not be a real penny pincher like me 80 grammes of bridgeless igniter compound will enable you to make a hundreds of igniters i can make a batch of 100 igniters in about 2.5 hrs work cost is wire plus about 70p per hundred for chemicals stripped ribbon cable is good or bell wire

I've been to the leading Chinese igniter factory and the leading Czech igniter factory personally. Czech igniters are not made in China, copies might be however.
My advice...
If you're looking for ultra reliability (ISO9001 etc), buy Czech.
If you're not bothered and want them to a price, buy from China.
If you need them locally, I guess you take what you can get, otherwise mail order?
