Ok here you go this is exactly what I used in that waterfall.

52 Potassium Nitrate (less than 100 mesh)
14 Antimony Trisulphide dark (325 mesh)
8 Barium Carbonate
10 AF Charcoal
7 Sulphur
7 Atomized 200- 325 mesh Aluminium
2 Sodium Oxalate

Tubes were cheap spiral wound 3/4 ID x 1" OD x 10 inch long No choke.

Just screen it through a 40 mesh screen a couple of times without the Al then diaper in the Al afterwards. Press into tubes (not a good idea to try ramming this mix! )
Comp lights easily with no need for any kind of starter comp.
I pressed the comp leaving a 1/2 inch space in the top into which I forced a wad of blackmatch.
A 3 inch length of blackmatch exiting the tube nosed with 2 turns of 30lb paper completed the fuse assembly
Do not dampen this mix.

This is a great formula even though I had to use flake Aluminium as I need to order some atomised! Not sure what difference that would make, I assume it would extend the effect for longer in the trail of golden sparks?

Also I appreciate we shouldn't dampen with water but I wonder if a little red gum and alcohol would be ok to control the dust this formula creates when you load the tubes. Let me know.

I do not what the difference in using flake Al would be as I've never tried it . If you used the bright 'tin man' type Aluminium yes it will be messy loading and pressing your tubes.
A lttle Alcohol would probably help make the process cleaner. No real need for the Red Gum though.
I should have qualified the 'do not dampen this mix' in my previous post comment with the words 'with water'. Alcohol will do no harm.

Yeah the flake is very bright and very light. I'm not getting anything like the length of effect you get in that pic so I suspect the larger mesh atomised would help. It is still a beautiful effect though.

I'll try pressing after adding some alcohol to calm it down.
