Pyrotechnic Smoke Compositions Containing Boron Carbide

I have to admit I thought this sounded quite interesting....

basically an attempt to develop less toxic screening smokes by the military,

and supposedly outperforms the M83(terephthalic acid based composition) smoke grenade.
