Hi All,

Just thought I'd share this with you.

We went to stay on a friend's farm & did a short pyromusical whilst we were there.

It was a mixture of Cat 3 & Cat 4 with a bit of my own stuff thrown in. All the single shots & mines were my own.

The show was designed by my son (Top Fuel on UKFR) & it was fired by my home made firing system & consisted of 43 cues using 60 igniters.

Sorry for the dodgy video footage. The plan was to be set up in plenty of time & position 2 or 3 cameras around, with 1 about 100 yards or so away, but we spent too much time on the beach & were late starting set up. As a result it got to 10:45pm & we still had 2 cues not showing continuity, so I said we just have to go with it & the show got filmed by my nephew on his phone. Honestly, I have been less stressed on pro displays !!

Apart from that, the things that let us down were the consumer cakes. There was a fan cake that ran much faster than it was supposed to & another cake that ran over into a quiet part. Cat 4 is so much more reliable ! Apart from the 8 shot candle at the beginning, that was obviously on a go-slow !

Se what you think :

Cheers,

Phil.

Very nice, I'd be pretty chuffed with the timing despite the issues you mentioned!

What was the straight falling leaves effect cake that started about 25s in?

It was a MLE horsetail / falling leaves cake (MLE9-5001i), 30mm, 25 shot.
