Anyone play guitar?
Anyone like "rock" music?
Well, I love my guitar and every now and again, I play in a mates band. They are called Apeth Mannus, and are a 3 piece. Guitar, bass, and drums. I've uploaded a few songs for you guys to listen to. Let me know what you think :-)

The cover was originall done by smashing pumpkins. Good Tune, Is the band from nottingham?

What guitar do you play? At the moment I'm on an ESP V250
We're working on Dyers Eve now - damn hard to play.
Hehe - I've thought about covering some songs from Doom many a time. A while back we did the Playdays theme tune

Dunno, some no name thing i picked up for 120 bucks, not a bad lil guitar. the only thing fancy i got is my korg ax100g effects processor.... which isnt all that highly ranked amongst the community of guitar critics.

Nice - you sound very skilled.
I've recently got a share of a guitar (Yamaha ERG121 - nothing fancy, just a cheap starter), which I am slowly learning to play, though it's kind of been on hold lately. I will probably get back into it during the holidays.
I've played the piano for a few years, and I've just got Muse's "Absolution" and "Origin of Symmetry" songbooks. I've got "Space Dementia" about cracked, and that really is a great song. Unfortunatly, it has the guitar ending from OOS, not the massive kick ass piano ending from "Hullabaloo Live." Ah well.
Currently working the solo from "Butterflies and Hurricanes." Great piece, but I reckon it'll be a _long_ time before I quite get it to flow quite like Bellamy does.
BTW, for others who have a keyboard and guitar - an interesting thing I found: Plug the amp into the keyboard's headphone socket - voila! Overdrive Piano! It seemed to be OK for me, but do this at your own risk (since there is probably potential for damage to equipment). Schubert sounds rather interesting like this.

Aah don't be too harsh - Korg make some great pedals :-) . That's almost the same model steve runs his bass through. Does the job pretty well - great delays, not so good on the pitch shifting. I would love anything that does more than my Boss Hyper-metal.the only thing fancy i got is my korg ax100g effects processor.... which isnt all that highly ranked amongst the community of guitar critics.
I also play piano too. At the moment I'm about 16 pages into Toccata and fuge in D. minor. Now, that's fun to play - ecspecially on a church organ

Cool - I've got a little way to go before I'll be playing stuff like that. I used to be quite into classical, but then I discovered Muse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Coldplay etc, and I don't listen to much classical music now.

I used to play Drums (well I still do, but on the table, chairs etc heh) and long for another kit because I sold mine years ago. Ive still got some sticks as a reminder.
Doing the music from Doom would be ace. I remember a couple of Metallica songs sounding like it.
How about the 'Fraggle Rock' theme by 'Allister' - a decent punky version.

Incidentally, my sister has just bought an African "Djembe" drum. Unlike an electric guitar or keyboard, you can't plug headphones into it or turn the volume down. I'm gonna have to move into my workshop...

I play the bass and the guitar (and when Im in the mood I play the my saxaphone too).
My pride and joy is my 5 string bass, Yamaha BB605, just like this one
Also have an electric acoustic bass and my cheapo squier P-bass.
Guitar wise I play another cheapo squier, the squier strat, which has been, how can I put it....."customised". lol. Ill try and get a pic of it up tomorrow. Its been covered in zebra pattered fur
I also have an old Italian made Eko acoustic guitar (its about 30 years old and plays like an absolute dream - it was a gift from one of my dads friends)
Im not a huge fan of playing through effects, I always end up playing for too long trying to find the right sound and not enough time actually playing the guitar! I just use the EQ on my amp and bass and vary my playing style (playing fingerstyle you can get a huge range of sounds just by the way you pick the strings and then youve got slapbass on top of that so I dont feel Im missing out on too much! lol).
And for those that want to know I play through an Ohm amp, 60 Watts with a 15 inch cone and a front port that runs the width of the cabinet. Ive never dared turn it up above 1/2 volume, and yes, the low B on the bass does vibrate the walls, windows, floor, furniture, ornaments, small pets........etc

For the record (no music pun intended!) I play an Ibanez SB740 through a POD-II (rack), Focusrite Mix Master Compressor then into a JMP-50 (original 1964 Marshall Head) with two 4 x 12" Black Widows cabs.

Lovely guitars - not sure about the "handle" series though That is certainly a kickass setup. I play through widows at a practise studio we frequent - makes my marshall sound so pewny. It's a 200w Valvestate - with a dead overdrive, dead pre-amp, but a sweet, sweet clean channel.
