Well, I must say Adam nor Myself look anything like Gandalf :-)

Although in another forum I was strangely compared to an elf with a firework fetish.....bizarre.

I used to watch a while back. It's not on anymore I don't think. Mostly would watch it to see if I could figure out what they were saying.
The original topic was KNO3/ sodium chlorate. Robbie, I'm still trying to figure out that dividing by 1.

You can do it yourself but your gonna need a bucket or two. Your neighbors ain't gonna like you anymore either. Besides, it takes too long for most pyros who normally just too darn impatient.
I gotta go tend to my watermelon seedlings so they can grow big and juicy in time for the 4th of July. I sing "A COUNTRY BOY CAN SURVIVE" by Hank Williams Jr to encourage them. If they ain't ripe in time then we are all well aware of their fate. It's win/win either way.

Well if he watches Red Dwarf then he must have good taste! Have you got The League Of Gentlemen yet? Or is it considered too twisted for export?

Never heard of it up til just this very moment. There are a few UK imports but nothing that ever caught my attention.
IT JUST STRUCK ME. I'm gonna figure ya'll are just like James Bond. Now who amongst you is "Q". That ain't gonna work. All of you will claim to be the genious inventor. We'll consider Mr. Johnson as being Bond of of course. Bet I nailed that one dead on.
We do have a show over here that the family watches with obssesive regularity. The Simpsons. It's an animated citcom. Maybe it's to low brow for the UK but we blow snot watching it.
Now back to KNO3. Nick said so. Or for crying out loud somebody post a new topic. My crippled little fingers (all nine)is a gettin' numb. Maybe I should go build something and stop blowing hot air all around this forum. Not really back to 100% though. Not one single person was willing to throw a single hint my way when I asked for tips on colored micro stars in pressed comets. Not to challangeing I know but I thought it might get something going.

Bernie, The Simpsons is the best cartoon on British T.V! Me and Adam are big fans.

I aspire to Homer Simpson, he know's how to par-tay!

As we speak(sort of any way) my favorite show is on. I got a Simpsons lunch box for Christmas this last year. I store my Simpsons watches in it. :D So many episodes, so little time. I have the board game as well.
Please don't get me going on this. I'll never shut up. My kid will want to chime in as well. Sod off you little bugger you! To my kid I sez this.
At least we have some common ground now.

Used to be many moons ago when I was a kid the family would sit around the tube on Sun. evening and watch the "WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY'. My, how things have changed!
I'm going to say it before anyone else has a chance before me. The episode that starts out with Homer & Bart doing home repairs around the house by applying fireworks to various things makes me laugh LOL just typing it in. An all time favorite at our house. We had just gotten back that very eve from the clubs Spring Fling. We were all just a little bummed out that it was over and that episode made the "coming down" just a bit easier.
Just when you think they can't possibly pull it off for another season they come thru for you. The ONLY television show I make it a point to sit down and watch.
I missed it only once or twice and the only reason was because I was up to my elbows in some black dusty/mucky something or other pyro related. I ain't got no standards but at least I have priorities.
The next reply really should start w/ a Flandersism. That is of course if your up to it? Are you feelin' lucky?
Do the names Gus & Call mean anything to you fellows? "WE DON'T RENT PIGS" ring a bell? The HAT CREEK CATTLE COMPANY is quite a bunch of Texans.

I must admitt , I will have to give the bovine reference some thought. I'm a little slow on the uptake at times. Is it Simp. related or a UK expression?
I have to ask this one. Do they dub the(translate) show so that the characters have a British accent. I would pay incredible sums of money to see just one of those episodes. :bounce:

Its a simpsons reference. i aint from the uk. im in australia. its from the episode where lisa runs away from home and becomes a full on vegetarian after ruining hmers bbq. in class they watched a video about meat and the refered to the cattle going to the slaughter house as going to bovine university, and at the end of the film ralph moronicly sais "when i grow up. im going to bovine university" i spose the joke has been ruined now due to over-explaining. i would have to cover it up with another quotye but i cant think of any...... dang. anyway. untill next time my fellow simpson lover! later.
