For a few weeks now, I have been working on a searchable PFP database. The program is now complete and ready to be used by people wishing to find all the formula's that they can make. Although only stars can be searched at the moment, there are plans to introduce other formulas and maybe some more formula databases.

Consider it a beta release at the moment, the source is a bit here and there which I will clean up in the next release. It should all work, it haven't had any problems with it so far, except for a few which made me want to drop kick my computer across the room but they are fixed now.

Its pretty simple to use, just select which chemicals you have in the list, then who's formula's you would like to search and then which category. You can select multiple creators and categories e.g. select all of them to see all stars that you can produce. Once done, click submit and hope there are some that you can use. I have tried my best when moving the formula's into the database to keep them accurate and correct but there maybe the odd mistake so I would recommend that you just check with the real PFP database ( http://come.to/pfp ) just to be safe. Also, no safety notes are provided, use common sense and like before, cross reference with the real PFP.

I have e-mailed Andy Krywonizka a few times asking if he minded me doing it but I got no reply. I assume he wont as other people have asked to have the PFP on their sites and he has replied yes

I hope this thread is in the correct forum, its to do with special effects, enjoy

I didnt realise this but click one hold control and while still holding control click the rest i usually do this to the scroll list of the peoples names so that i can search all of them, this way you can aalso pick multiple chemicals and categories.

 . I can get results. Try selecting Dextrin, Charcoal, Potassium Nitrate and Sulphur and all of there people in the creators box and all formula categories. You should get some Chrysanthemum and other charcoal stars. This will tell you if its working or not. If you talk me through what you did, I can tell you if your doing something wrong or if its the script. Very strange

would be better if you could select the star and colour and the person ie: Lancaster and the database should list the chems needed.
No point in having to tell the system the chems, the person and the colour star.... if you know all that info already to fill in the box's then you have no need for the information the database provides.

Change the search criteria, select person and star/colour requiered... database can return all formula with related chems list.

I will start work on the next version soon so it should have some more search methods. If anybody wants to see another search feature, let me know and I will see if I can fix it for you.

The reason why it is in its current state is that a person might want to see what stars they can make from either certain chemicals or all of the chemicals they have. However, you could preform a search the way you want Djinn, just select all of the chemicals and then selectively select creators and the star type. This should do what you want it to do.
