I found a new booksearch site recently and was idly seeing if they had anything interesting when it came up with this little gem

Laux, Constance
Diamond Rain
New York, NY, U.S.A.: Topaz, 1999 Paperback. Very Good. First Printing. "Four years ago, Isabel De Quincy and Benedict Costigan left each other at the altar. Now the competition for the Jubilee fireworks contract has pitted Isabel's beautiful and elegant shows against Ben's flamboyant and gaudy pyrotechnics. Sabotage is just the beginning in their outrageous attempts to outdo each other..and deny the heat that threatens to consume them. And while all of London society is treated to the spectacle of Isabel and Ben's colorful relationship, their warring passion and stubborn pride could send their rediscovered dreams--and the celebrations--up in smoke.." Yellowing inside cover.
ISBN: 0451408136
Bookseller Inventory #030833
Price $1.50

My cup runneth over! How can I resist?

and surely the $1.50 price is a misprint?!?....

Could have been worse.

It might have been titled "Golden Showers" :o

Ooh Err Missus. Maybe a different forum, perhaps.
