Am in the process of filling in my BPA firer's log book
In terms of Show Details, does anyone have any idea as to what NEC stands for?

Hi there
no it is not the national exhibition centre lol
i didnt fire a show there (wherever it is) but sure would love to.
I was filling in the BPA Firers log book and one of the pieces of information it asks you for is the NEC.
I have since spoken with Adam who was able to inform me that it stands for Net Explosive Content, which reffers to the ammount (weight) of powder used within a device or show.

NEC = Nett Explosive Content
The weight of a device that is the pyrotechnic content - ie a cake may weigh 4kg but the NEC is 300g (stars, flash burst, BP, fuse etc)
