BigG,
As there has been another representative from China previously, I dont see any harm in the odd post as they may be commercial company's but the posts dont tend to be commercial by nature. They may also open doors for the forum to gain access to further knowledge and information.

Having said that, any attempt to turn the forum into a bilboard for a company or any major sales or marketing related posts will be dealt with accordingly.

I can reassure you that the other chinese representive stopped posting as we took similar measures. I don't see any problems with trade members coming on board - they are more then welcome! I would like to know what are their products, how they manufacture and what - but the moment they cross the line to "best fireworks in the world" and advise direct purchuse of thier items - they cross the lines of the forum.

If such members really have any other intention then selling products - then they would have probably been hanging around for a bit longer. We had one memebrs that was interested in the positions of the usage of ammonium nitrate in rockets - I have no doubt he was researching the market for his company - but his questions were legit as far as forum rules concern and contributed to the knowledge of the members. Such questions are wlecome

doubt there is anyone on the forum that is ready to order a 20' container at this point which is minimum order from the persons or conpany's mentioned so I really do not think there is much to wory about.... unless they try turn the forum into a billboard.

Maybe adam, it would be good to know a source or two.

On the 20' container note, there are people on this forum that are concidering an order of this magnitude. If would be nice for the compitition to come to us, but as this a non commercial, informative site, it's quality would be degraded if it did become a billboard. More inexperienced people would jump in at the deep end and just go and buy a load of stuff, without reading all the useful information. It would be a shame if all the traffic was from the tradeing side.

There is one forum I know of, that does company reviews, where people talk about their experiences and where to obtain materials. This is far from a billboard though, as any attempts at advertising propaganda are removed soon after they are put up.
