Obtaining supplies of safety/time fuse

Hello people I am a newbie, (to this site at least), I have been making my own fireworks for most of my adult life, however I have never been able to source a supply of safety, visco, cannon, green, time fuse, etc in this country.
I have made many variations of my own, with an amount of success, even the "Babylis hair braider" has come in handy.
I have worked in almost complete isolation from other enthusiasts, I feel its time to change this.

The simple truth is safety fuse isn't available to anyone who isn't a professional. The reason for this is that according to the law, an amatuer has no use for it (afterall, they dont need to be fusing their fireworks together). If you become professional, you will see how terribly easy it is to get supplies. This doesnt mean it's not impossible for you. I know of certain firework companies that will sell Visco or PIC to amatuers who they deem responsible enough. It's all about searching and finding the right place. Of course it would be irresponsible of me to tell you where it can be found, but I can say that it's possible, if you try hard enough.

I am by trade a Locksmith , believe me closed doors are a plenty.
I shall keep knocking on them:)

Making your own fuses is quite easy if you really work hard at it , i have always hade to make my own:)

Professionalism is judged by attitude, experience, training, licensed storage and fireworks insurance.

Once you have a few boxes ticked the rest will follow, more people will know you and trust you with supplies.

hi. just to let you know about visco fuse and all other fuses. you can buy it. and as far as i am aware there is no law on this. i know because i have bought loads if it of the internet.coming to talk of it i have just order 40 meters of it. hope this helps with your fuse problem. adam
