I was thinking about finally making a rocket and so was looking at Chaz's website (http://www.infernolabs.co.uk), I noticed that you have to drill a core in the rocket and I though of what could be a better method, if you stick a 4mm wooden rod (pencil size) in the centre of your unrammed comp in the tube, and then drilled a 4mm hole in your ramming rod (obviously drill deeper than the length of your 4mm rod) then surely you could ram the mixture and create a rocket without the dangerous drilling of BP.

A. Would it work?
B. Has someone said this before or have I come up with a good idea?

Also, can someone checkout my rocket design with a flash load and see if it would work without killing me (or the neighbours). it's at http://www.sizzle-py...net/rocket1.jpg and my wheel http://www.sizzle-py...herinewheel.jpg

Yes, that works.

It is used very often. Sets of rocket tooling are sold all over. I am not sure about in the UK, but in the US there are at least a half dozen suppliers. They do ship overseas too. Just google rocket tooling and you will find.

That link is broken btw.
