This is very funny and a double standards state of affairs;the US police prosecute people for firework misuse and then this set of videoclips turns the tables by showing them being stupid with fireworks, let's bring on the UK police doing the same!!! Shows what a mockery the law is with this "one rule for one, and another rule for the rest"!!!

It's the same with drugs, I know someone who was caught in possesion of canabis, went to court and when the canabis was presented as evidence, half of it had gone. The police had had it.

I get the distinct impression that this clip was staged [ie:acted] for the ComedyCentral channel rather than a real home video. The characters are just *too* comical and the icecream truck explosion was a little *too* Hollywood.

The clip is from the American show "Reno 911" haven't seen it myself, but I've heard it's largely unscripted... this may be why it could seem almost amateur, and unstaged. Excluding the truck explosion of course!

the paint on the outside wall of the van would have blistered peeled if that ammount of heat was on the other side of it, surely?

Also, wether that was fake or not, my story wasn't and I think it's slightly more worrying that the police are using drugs they confiscate.

Yes, reno 911 is a very funny show, but it's just that, a show, not real police. I have no doubts that many "real" policemen are that stupid though unfortunately.
As for the cannabis thng, that's just sad.

Hook, Line, and Sinker ! Come on guys, didn't the "Comedy Central" logo in the corner give it away that this was from a campy TV show ? I realize that all of you in the U.K probably have not watched Reno 911... so,
