Picked up two packets of these. Astra "Sonic Wave", ?2 for a packet of 4.

I wasn't even entirely sure what they would do when i bought them, i couldn't leave the shop without buying something though! (and didn't have much money on me at the time)

Here's the firework itself

I've only fired one of these so far and i was quite surprised at the effect. They launch a gold star with a whistling/screeching noise (pretty sure there was whistling anyway!) and the twist is, the star that it launches spins around almost like a catherine wheel in mid-air, was quite a unique effect and looked impressive. I can imagine firing a few of these at once would look quite effective.

Overall a good little firework, pretty basic but quite entertaining.

Seen quite a few of these. Spent cases lying round everywhere. Seem to be popular this year.

One thing i forgot to mention, my g/f's uncle brought a "blue moon" selection pack by Cosmic fireworks, inside this box there was a fountain with exactly the same packaging as these Sonic Waves, and was even called Sonic Wave. I had kinda high hopes for it thinking it would be a better version of the small ones i had, but it turned out to just be a basic fountain. I just thought it was odd that it was named and packaged identically to these, despite it being a total different firework.
