A small, yet useful post!

Have you ever wanted some 'spikes' at the end of your Roman Candles, mines etc. to fix into the earth?

Well simply superglue a golfing tee at the end of your tube and Voila! One professional looking spiked device.

Cost about ?1.50 for 100.....can also get these in wood for that 'rustic' look.

:)

Neat idea. I tape really long (5" or so) cocktail sticks to the side. Dirt cheap but sometimes hard to get into the ground.

Relying on a golf tee to support a large roman candle (esp multishot) like an airbomb doesnt seem too safe to me. One good jolt and it's going to work loose, and may end up pointing in your direction!

True - but I've found it to be OK.

I use superglue or even liquid steel epoxy to secure the spike.

So far so good - it maybe because I use smaller candles and not multishot.
