Hello everyone,

You can now request an application pack to join the Society via our heavily under construction website. Please note we will not be issuing these for another week or two.

I would encourage anyone serious about their hobby to complete the online form so we can send you more details. Membership is set at ?20.00 for full adult members and ?15.00 for junior members.

I have completed & submitted :D. I have been eagerly awaiting this, since the good news middle of last month.

By the way - excellent badge / logo. If you so decide - I can see quite a few t-shirts, caps etc selling with the UK Pyrotechnics Society logo on!

How young do you have to be to be able to get a junior membership?

Due a larger then expected volume of registration requests, we are a bit behind in sending them out. Some members should have already received their registration forms, but some will only receive them toward month end. We do apologize for the longer then expected wait.

Preliminary events schedule would also be published in the near future.

I hope I?ll be accepted as an full member anyway, because it is quite "useless" for me to join the group as I would not benefit from all the stuff the UK members can do.

Anyway, its such a great thing you guys finally managed it. All my congratulation!

With the recent vendors discounts and events – there are more reasons to join the society. Remember – we need a large membership base to promote a body that support firework usage is willing to promote safety through education (rather then just ban everything that smell of sulphur).

If you haven’t done so yet, please join the society. The vendor discounts themselves (more coming soon), are good enough reason to put your 20 quid down…

Anyway – visit the society site (www.pyrosociety.org.uk) and ask for membership pack.

If you have posted back your completed form to us then you should not have to do anything, but if you have been waiting for more than a few weeks and have not received anything, then please contact us.

The Membership Secretary is currently moving house, normal service will resume shortly! :)
