That is pretty slow, unless it's a whopping great big jar!

Well it does a good job, we found it to be perfect. Our standard 16hr milld bp will knock your socks off! We have one very large milling jar and some smaller jars. We have jars and media for different chemicals and a few for just black powder. It runs at the same speed as our smaller mills so we dont have to re calculate anything.

Me and my pyro buddy, its better to work as a team. Give advice, also I think its good for safety reasons to not work alone.

Very good suggestion. Never really realised it, but I have always worked with others unless it is very small work.

We have mill jars about 18" in diameter, 15L capacity, and the 150W capacitor start motor we use struggles a bit. Looking to upgrade soon. so we can have the jar rotating faster.

Does anyone know of a good uk source for jars suitable for milling?

Im thinking of about a 1 gallon wide mouthed plastic jar but cannot find any on the net after hours of searching (in the uk)

Anyone?

Just get some 4.5" drain pipe and covers! Its what some of the smaller tumblers use for jars. Will cost you next to nothing!
