Hi friends,

I had the chance to buy PVC powder but I had to take 25kg of it. The cost was 100 Euro.

This large amount is much more than I need, so I will sell the excess.

You can buy a kilo for 4 Euro and have to pay the shipping. I just want the huge bag to disappear, not to earn money.

At skylighter it is more than four times expensive!! They take almost 8$ for a pound.

Postage in Germany is no problem, I dont know anything about shipping in europe or worldwide, probably anyone can tell something about.

Use Email to contact me if you want some.

I could use a bit of a top-up of PVC, but dont need much.
The problem is that shipping many small quantitys is gonna cost much more than the actual price of the PVC.

I dont mind acting as a UK distributer, if anyone else from the UK would like any?
If its sent over in one lump it should make it much cheaper for us all.

I live in Greece, since it's so hard to get that chem around here i am thinking for 2-3 kg of this.
Simple registered mail would be fine i guess. Can you ask about the shipping price?

Hi Friends,

thanks to ProfHawking for distributing in UK. Let us know the exact amount to ship there.

I searched the DHL homepage and found the following:

Shipping in Zone1:

The cost depends on the total weight.

up to 5kg: 17 €
5kg to 10kg: 22€
10kg to 20kg: 32€

Zone 1 - Europa
Andorra, Azoren, Belgien, D?nemark, F?r?er (DK), Finnland, Frankreich, Griechenland, Gr?nland, Gro?britannien (inklusive Isle of Man), Guernsey, Irland, Italien, Jersey, Korsika, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Madeira, Monaco, Niederlande (Holland), Nordirland, ?sterreich, Polen, Portugal, San Marino, Schweden, Schweiz, Slowakei, Spanien (inklusive Balearen), Tschechien, Vatikanstadt.

As you can see, UK (Gro?britannien) and Greece (Griechenland) are included here.

Hermes will deliver to the following countries:

Belgien, D?nemark, Estland, Finnland, Frankreich (au?er Oversea Departments/?bersee Regionen), Gro?britannien, Nordirland, Irland, Italien (au?er San Marino, Livigno, Vatikanstadt), Lettland, Litauen, Luxemburg, Monaco, Niederlande, ?sterreich, Polen, Portugal (au?er Azoren, Madeira), Schweden, Slowakei, Slowenien, Spanien (au?er Ceuta, Kanaren, Melilla), Tschechische Republik, Ungarn

UK is available but greece is not.

The cost depends on the parcels sice (addition of the longest and the shortest edge):

14,90€ up to 50cm
19,90€ up to 80cm
29,90€ up to 120cm

The DHL Maxibrief to greece costs 14€ for up to 2kg, that dont really save much.

Any more requests from greece?

One word about payment: As usual at ebay I want the money to be send to my bank account. The parcels will be send the next day.

I often use DHL's parcel2go service, and that would be ?25+tax for up to 25kg

If everyone in the UK who wants some, PM me your details and how much you want.

Once we have a few kilos then a price can be finalised. I guess it will be about ?6-?8 per kilo by the end of it if we get a full order

I forgot to say: I'll take 5kg, so 20kg are available to give away. I wont sell the whole 25kg because that would be a mistake :o

So for my 2Kg of it with DHL the cost is 8+17=25 euros correct?
Seems nice to me.
I'll ask a friend if he needs some too.
Thank you very much.

I've PMed Profhawking.

You have seen this PVC powder right? It's good stuff? Tried it in comps? I'm assuming it's not coloured.

Btw, do you know that % chlorine it is?

Hi friends,

here some more information:

The powder is "Vinnolit S3268". This is pure PVC-U (unplasticized). Fine white powder.

When sieved, 98% will stay on 63?m sieve, only 5% on 250?m sieve.

The Cl contant will be around 56% as it is pure PVC (molecular weight of PVC is 62 and Cl is 35).

I didnt try it yet but I will...

I dont have perc (yet*), so I will try a SrNO3/PVC/Al composition.

@leosedf:

Right, try to find someone to share with. That will be cheaper (it is already cheap but why not pay less?).
