If you are reading this then you will already be aware that the forum has moved to its new address, as part of the ongoing UKPS site upgrade. It is unlikely that you will experience any problems as a result of this, but if you have noticed anything has gone missing like a recent post or PM then let me know. Again this is highly unlikely.

Around 30,000 records have been moved across from the old site to this new one, no mean feat I am sure you will appreciate.

Secondly, I have had a bit of a tidy up, and if you have not logged in this year and are yet to make a post, then your account has been deleted. Sorry, but all you inactive lurker types are wasting space in our database. You can easily rejoin the forum by following the link above.

That is all.

Again, it is planned to change the style of the forum to match the site. It is just a question of time, I can certainly do anything in css and such. I thank everyone for offers of help, maybe I will take some of you up on it.

Indeed, thank you for all your work and for such a good forum.

I might be imagining it, but is your new server's clock 10 minutes fast? Maybe hint to your hosts that NTP sync is a good thing... Also noticed that there might be a few locale specific symols (particularly GBP £) that have been scrambled in the transfer... Minor points though - keep up the good work!

I also noticed this, and plan on letting them know. Glad to see I'm not the only pedant around here!

Re: Could you forward links to any posts you have noticed? Interested to see. Some of the really old posts were made in XMB, our original forum software. It is possible that you speak of these.

:D No you're not, I didn't mention it for that very reason.

He's right. In fact none of the links except 'join us', 'events' and 'home' are working for me.
