Thought i'd make a seperate post about these.

The Weco "Rio" rocket pack from Aldi, £19.99 for 18 large rockets. Works out about £1.11 per rocket, which is pretty good in my books.

You get:

7 "Atlantis"
6 "Challenger"
5 "Discovery"

All boast a "shell burst" effect.

Descriptions of each rocket are as follows

Atlantis - Circular shaped silver to red chrysanthemum shell burst
Challenger - Circular shaped bright silver chrysanthemum shell burst
Discovery - Circular shaped ruby red chrysanthemum shell burst

Now a couple of pictures

I'll write reports of these once i fire them and hopefully get some videos to upload aswell. Im sure i had a couple of the Atlantis rockets last year and as far as i remember they were impressive.

They look good value for money. When are you due to fire them?

A friend of mine bought a Lord of the Knights (lol) cake selection pack and said it was very good and it boasts a total of 5 cakes with 260 shots in total. 1 cake having 16 shots-producing blue and red comet burst effects, 1 cake having a 20 shot combination-producing heavy shell bursts with golden and silver medusa style effects, 1 cake having 24 shots- producing heavy crackling bursts and 2 cakes with 100 shots each producing small stars and glitter. Inclludes a lot of rapid firing. he said it was £19.99 and was also very good value.

Should be firing them this Sunday with any luck.

The cake packs look not bad, i think all the Aldi fireworks should be half decent. Weco fireworks seem to have a good reputation from what i've read.

I fired a couple of these today to time the fuses and they give reasonable hight and a good report, not too loud, with a nice burst.

The rockets themselves are a two part with a motor and small shell (about an inch across) in the top part so do burst really well.

Well worth the £20.
