Hi,

I've been looking through UK fireworks online shops and none of them seem to stock these little buggers lol.
U.S sites have them but I can't find them here. Does anyone know where I could get some or who I can buy them from.

Cheers

I think the specific ones he's talking about are the clay balls, with the hollowed centre of composition (a dye, chlorate and lactose I think). I have never seen them available in the UK, or anywhere that would ship them, but 5thElement says, there will be alternatives in other forms.

after a little look around, these are available here and there. These ones seem to be pellets of comp, not clay balls, but im sure do the same thing:

Hi,

Nah, the pellets are rubbish because they dont have a fuse. This is what I mean:

Sadly, I'm 99% sure you will not be able to find them in the UK (legally). They seem to be in the same class as crackling balls, ground blooms, and other novelty items that we're not allowed here in the UK.

I would go with strapping a fuse to some smoke cookies - it's going to be the nearest thing, other than making your own.

WAAA???????

I can't believe my ears! There banned! These are safe and sane fireworks and there banned! The smoke pellets are just as dangerous since they don't have a fuse, you can burn your self! I think the government has completely lost his mind lol.

BTW, has anyone heard about these new UN classifications about the powder in fireworks? Well from I think June 2007 all rockets with over 20g explosive weight will have to be reclassified to 1.3g!!!!!!! Terrible, tis tis, :( . Oh and you can't buy in shop premises too. Cakes will also have to have reduced powder!

:Smoke grenades are easily available in the Uk. Many are sold through Army surplus shops. One of the leading manufacturers is " Enola Gaye"products .They have quite a good website including some more interesting thunderflashes and paint ball grenades.I don't think they supply the general public direct but I am sure they will advise you of a local supplier .
