Add this extension to Firefox.

Web Page Entry Spell Checker

And it will provide instant spell checking in English English (not US bollocks), just like in Word (or openoffice writer if you've already gone down the free open source route).

If you use IE, tough, but I'm sure there is something similar for Micro$crew Internet Explorer. You could always learn how to spell Steve! :P

That would help me, but I'm thinking about the general desire to make this forum a resourse, if you're searching for something that has been discussed under a misspelling it may not turn up. Plus it will keep posts neater.

As for my spelliing, I'll have a look for some IE software.

Damn, how did I do that.
Do you ralise that 86 people have viewed this topic, despite the main gist being confined to the title?
Andrew: Do you realise it's NoWave this Thursday?

Typo! - obviously should be realise (triple checked that)

This is exactly why we need a spell checker! Although I'm sure it entertains some of you to take the piss out of my dyslexic spelling. :D

A point very well made. I think it should also be copied over to the Green Room!
Seriously though, it's got my vote, for all those who do not have an in-page spell checker build in the their brouser, a "check spelling" button would be very benificial to the quality of the forum. But make sure it is a British English dictonary... please.... :D

No Wave? It doesn't say it is in barefacts! Although the quality of barfacts has become a little inconsistant recently. Anyway sounds like a plan.

Weird, it's in the Ents planner, unlike the other music socs who couldn't get organised in time. - I just hope I can ignore the impending doom which is my dissertation deadline for long enough to leave the house.
