Well basically the +/- titanium is just for extra brightness or extra speed of composition. As far as i know its optional so i wouldnt worry about it. While the aluminium being bright flake i'd suggest a fine mesh something about 10microns though i'd better leave that part to the admins. Am i right?

The bright flake is 325 mesh I believe. The titanium is at the end as an addition to the 100% mix because it is a part of the formula that can or should be tweaked to you tastes, where as the flash mix itself is already dialed in and not to be tampered with, more or less.

Bright aluminum usually does indicate -325 mesh. However you can also get 400 mesh bright aluminum flake. These powders make rather poor (but pretty safe!) SMALL salutes. In larger amounts, such as the amount used in an aerial salute and well confined this makes a very effective and cheap flash powder.

The -8+15 titanium should mean: titanium particles that pass a 8 mesh screen but are retained on a 15. this is rather coarse Ti and will make excellent large long lasting sparks in a salute. Usually 10% of the weight of the flash is titanium. So 100 grams of ti flash would be 90 grams flash, 10 grams ti.

The purpose of the titanium is to throw white sparks. :)
