i know that you can use magnesium or titanium for a tail. but i was reallly was woundering how when they put a tail on lets say a 4" or 5" shell and it looks like the whole shell is glowing white with a long tail all the way up until it breaks how do they do that??

Thats often done with multiple 3/4" - 1" comets attached to the top of the shell, using a tailed composition, or a bushy glitter.
