Hi, u lot out there, big up! the names d shake. yeh sweet, ok can anyone tell me how to make a lovely big parachute candle which gives a nice loud burst of colour and drifts down with a nice flare, possible even a strobe flare!:cool::

There's a lifetime's work in there!

Have you made any small devices before - i.e. BP, fountains, roman candles etc.?

There're a number of important skills that need to be acquired first before a project of that magnitude.

Check out some of the more simple projects - not trying to discourage - it's just that 'running before walking' and all that.

Apologies if you're an experienced pyro - but then if you were, I guess you wouldn't have posted.

I've been into pyrotechnics for about 10 years now, and not even I consider myself capable of producing such an effect.

Good luck! You will really need it.

I really want to post something in response but I can't seem to find the words..

A book or two is a good place to start. Doubt if your going to find any that are written with any hood lingo though. The concept is a do-able affair but a bit more complex than you might imagine. It's not really one of those projects that you can throw together in an hour. Even some of the more experienced fireworkers would consider this a pretty good challenge. You'll have to earn this one Mr. Shake.

If not, mebbe go's get sum readin', an den learn some propper bo stuff bout pyro. Der is dat thin' from Weingart dat is like it (the dude, he med some shell wit' da 'chute too). Fo shizzle mi nizzle. well i would post some useful helpfull information, however seeing as i speak good yorkshire english... not street ******-ish i cant understand a word of it.. eeh bah gum
