I was after deciding not to build a new ball mill from scratch, I realised i would have to go through the entire ball mill topic to find the links to shop around. I thought I'd save anyone else the trouble by posting them in one uncluttered topic.Don't forget, american 110v mills may burn out even with a transformer.

If I have missed any out, please don't hesitate to say so, and If I spot any more I'll add them in. If this save one person 20 minutes I'll be happy.

And just so you know Optimum Speed (in RPM) = (265.5 divided By the Square Root of (jar inner diameter" - milling media diameter"))*.65

Is the National Geographic Rock Tumbler any good for making bp do you think? it is very cheap and cheerful so i could get one quite quickly. I understand you need a ball mill for making bp.

Not necessarily, but without seeing the product id say its a bit of a waste of time. If you're looking for something with that little capacity, use the CIA method, or a pestle and mortar
