Hi there,

I collect old pyro..... I have a couple of standard boxes in my collection. These prices are top end to be honest for the boxes. You will sometimes pick them up on ebay cheaper when they pop up. I have 4 different sizes but have never paid more than £50 for a box... although if it is a desirable one such as Pains you could be talking over £200. What is a bargain on there is the brocks rockets and the standard rocket in the middle without a stick... but ive had no luck in him ever getting back to me.... Good Luck!
Simon.

Actually no. If you list your items as inert.... or Dummy... they are simply the cardboard tube. I have registered myself with ebay to sell these items and they do not then question my listings as i have explained what i am selling beforehand. There is the od occasion when someone doesnt list as inert or dummy and then they are withdrawn. Interestingly it is most likely that all these items on this site are live unless he has made them inert. If this is the case he shoudlnt be posting them.....

The same seller sold a size 12 box 4 weeks ago on ebay listed as inert which went for £42 to give you a rough idea of what you should be paying...

Ah sorry, I thought they were live fireworks. The one's on the link the OP has don't say inert so I assumed that you were also talking about potentially live fireworks.

He's selling both live and dummy ones, and is well aware that he can only post live ones via courier, or via local pickup.

Wouldn't they be inert anyway after siting in storage for all that time? cant imagine the plugs and nozzles would be in working order anyway

You might be surprised - I've fired fireworks from the 70's which functioned perfectly. This is why I resist buying old collectable fireworks - I can't resist burning them!

As i suggested before the odd box comes up on ebay...

STANDARD FIREWORKS dummies full box size 20 set 1970's Item number: 170128375863 I`d link you if i knew how but just seach the item number in the search bar and it will take you straight to it. Should go for less than 80 but depends who wants it....
