just had a look at the website, the fast burning "shotgun fuse" looks like handy stuff for lighting multiple rocket motors. may i ask what is the effect of the "falling leaf fuse" ive seen flying fish but not this :(

thanks ,the funny thing is i've already got that guide on my computer, but have'nt read it fully! so i missed it
,its quite slow burning but colourful, and they suggest it as a payload in rockets, which i will try,ive seen flying fish in a mine on this forum and it looked great

If your desperate for it, here is some, bit expensive though.
I have noticed all my usual sites seem to be out of it.
Waiting for pyroplanet to get some back in stock.

Was looking for training, bit far away for me to travel though.
They also sell hemis on ebay which is how I found them a second time.

Yep I got some for that reason, but have ended up using quick match. The only thing I have found it useful for so far is to light the entire core of a smoke device to get smoke production up to maximum as quickly as possible.
Phew that was close.

I have an alarming problem with some red American style waterproof visco I bought online. Can anyone help?

Testing a 4" length, the first couple of cm burnt well then the whole length of the lacquer coating burst into flame. If used in a shell leader it would have hit the quickmatch dangerously early.

So, what gives? Can I fix it or should I ask the store for a refund???

As is, the stuff is useless...

I dont know, but i have the thickly lacquered green American fuse and sometimes a small bit of the lacquer will catch fire but it goes out after a cm or two. A bit annoying but i only use it for rockets and other things with sealed holes. For aerial shells and other things i use the thinly lacquered Chinese fuse.

btw, we cannot buy fuse from cannonfuse or pyrocreations (USA sales only)

You could try coating it with a thin layer of wood glue or something else not flammable
