Hi guys, was my birthday on the 23rd and I had a small display, only 4 minutes, but I thought you might like the video :) Budget was £400, location deepest, darkest Scotland, firing time 10.30 Weather conditions, slight breeze, slight rain, high cloud :)

Bear in mind things had been sitting out since 4pm and they got a little damp, and the finale flashed over 6 seconds from the end... but hey, Shock and awe baby! Shock and awe!

Just watched it, very nice display. /envy And nice camerawork, actually saw most of it.

Very nice show there - three... two... RUN!!!!

Wish I could muster a £100 / minute budget for my birthday :) Maybe next year.

Could you share the names and brands of some of the effects you used. Some of the cakes in particular looked great. Did you link them all together with visco?

Visco! Visco! Not a chance ;) I used some PIC Green and quick match, maybe should have saved the PIC since they dont make it any more :( Oh well... Names and brands... Ehh, well, I cant remember lol, the night I got them I wrapped them all in bin bags and gafer tape to water proof them :) I know there was a "W" Effect cake with whistles there, couldnt really miss it tbh :) The Candles were cat3 quickmatched to getehr to for a "V" or a "W" Shells jsut standard really, a couple 5" crossetts, nothing too special :)
