could we have a Sticky in the "User Guide" sub fora, with a Glossary of commonly used terms and acronyms please.
I know there`s been several times I`ve asked in thread what does this or that mean or stand for, and I know others have also.

maybe something we can all contribute to, and perhaps later be organised into something Alphabetical when one of the staff gets really bored :)

Great idea - in the meantime though, there are quite a few pyrotechnic glossaries out there which cover most of the terms/acronyms used here... here's one:

stuff like that`s ok, until you get a Chemist here that speaks of ppt rxns for instance, hence one of our own would be a little better :)

Highschool chem was quite a few yrs ago... Hmmmm....precipitate reactions I think!

A glossary would be good, especially if a lot of chemistry nomenclature and/or abbreviations are used. Hopefully one can be made as a single list (in order) so it is easy to read and find terms.

If someone really wants to code it and moderate it! The the Wiki format is run successfully on another off topic site I use. That way the UKPS Wiki has a life, needs entries, and is searchable.
