This post has been editted- check out the posts below. We are having a meet up and a display on the 5th! Bring any Cat 2, Cat 3 stuff you have- a good chance to combine and put on a display.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

I have just the Venue!
the Local Allotments, of which I`m a Committee member, have a Massive piece of private land with a lockable Gate etc...
there`s also a large Community room where we could serve drinks and food if need be. I`m also Central UK and there`s even a train station about 150 Meters away from the front gates.
if you`re up for that, I`ll present the idea to the others and see what they say also, we have had a venue there before.

I have every reason to believe it`ll be a GO, and there`s also enough time to probably set up a small Bonfire too.
we can`t Sell beer on site, but if you bring your own, that`ll be perfectly fine :)

I'm happy to do this- Pyro-wise, I have about 30 colourful rockets, loads of little rockets, A £30 fan cake, About 10 £7.99 cakes, a 500 shotter, About 5 £14.99 fireworks, about 15 £4.99 barrages, some fountains too. All still at the shop in storage, but paid for and ready to be collected.

David, is This big enough :D

http://maps.google.c...H...p;z=18&om=1

also if you look to the bottom (hit the down arrow twice) you`ll see a School, and a long road besides it leading to allotments, that`s where the Gate is. and on the other side you can see our Community building.

the Schools address is:

St. Paul's C of E © Primary School
Robert Road
Tipton, West Midlands
DY4 9BH.

and for those that come by Train it`ll be Tipton Train station (like No shit Sherlock!) :)

OK, I`ve just got back and it`s clear for the 5`th Nov, I haven`t got clearance for the 3`rd or the 4`th we`ll be under staffed as it is and we`re also taking the yearly Rent then also, as well as looking after the shop (they`re on Holiday).

but if you can do the 5`th of Nov, it`s a definite GO :)

in that case it`s Definitely On :)

although if you`ll need to do the Pyro-Rigging it`s best that you come to my place 1`st (it`s about 500 metres away) and come early.
that way I can help you set up and let you Into the place (it`s locked to outsiders) and show you where will be the place, we can chat Logistics from there.
I have plenty Visco too if you run out.

Might be an idea to make a Newer thread or at least edit the Thread Topic/Title :)

Title will be altered. To be clear- I'm not a professional so don't epect mega stuff! I will bring my order of Cat 3 stuff, mostly from the £5- £15 cakes range- in my opinion this is the best value for money. Its still in storage, but I can give a fairly accurate list soon. Plus I may well buy some more before then!

Jacobs Join format is where people contribute what they have , and we work together to put on a display.

I have a few "Blank" Rockets without payload, but someone gave me a few Fantastic Comet stars that need to be seen up high! (seriously these are real nice stars!).

I wonder if Reggie will join us there too?
