British Bulldog- lots of stores open from Friday 26th to November 5th,a round Central/South Lancs and Manchester- basically an area without an all year round shop. Nothing special in my opinion, but a quite decent selection. the "Discount" is a bit of a farce, because its their own brand, so they set the RRP to begin with.

We have had some good Bulldog stuff in the past- the 1.4G (thats their name) rockets were very good, but that might have changed now. For cheap rockets you can't go wrong with the pup rockets!

The big crate might appeal to some people, but seems expensive to me.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

i might go for a visit this weekend when the shop opens.

what effects do the pup rockets have?...ive got plenty of fireworks now but just want to get a few bits & bobs to fill in some gaps

do they sell mines? i don't see any on the website, maybe they have them in-store though?...if not ill have to look elsewhere

how about the Typhoon selection box?...might just spend a tenner on that & get the free Typhoon rocket pack

Anything you see, let us know how it went. Pup rockets are a bang with a few stars- not bad for the money. I hear the selection boxes are a bit unreliable.

They seem to have shops EVERYWHERE, just a shame they have such farcical opening times.

Went into the Kirkham one today- actually, it is not a bad shop. The selection is as per the website- probably the best thing on their are the £4.99 cakes. For £4.99, they give a punchy effect.

Only depressing thing is you can see all the old shop fittings- they move into closed down shops- this one obviously used to be a butcher. Another one used to be a barbers, etc. There are still some stickers on the wall too, ghosts of when this was another business.
