Thats the link to the video, but check down and look at the comment by teaze0.
"if u wanna buy pottasium perchlorate or aluminium powder; i have got it for sale at £10 per 100 grams. Depends on when you buy it the price varys. Send an email to me for more details on how to pay and where to send it to etc.
My email address is: ((Removed by Me for posing on Uk Forum))
I can mix the flash powder and send it but i suggest you make the composition by your self, as i won't know how fast you want it to burn etc"
-----------------------------------
For one, his spelling is horrible, but what is more scary is he is offering to ship premixed flash powder through the EU mail. I'm not 100% sure what the law is on that over in the UK, or the rest of Europe, but I KNOW that in the US, that will get you federal prison time. Anyone know what the punishment would be if he actually shipped it?

I know this seems like a random post, but im hoping that the person who posted that will see this and change his mind about offering to ship mixed flash powder through the mail....

Anyway, whats some of the most troubling things you have seen along these lines? I once saw a guy on youtube offering to sell premixed ANFO with HMTD caps. How do people this stupid get a hold of such dangerous things?... :(

Contact the original poster, explain the problem and ask if he will pull the video and post it again , with either comments disabled or comments needing to be approved before posting.

I'm not surprised, many a time I've seen kewls who attempt to sell salutes and various other homemade "b0mbs" through the post.

Nevermind the comment... the guy on the video sounds drunk, stupid, clueless or a combination of all 3.

Regards the comment if everyone here clicks the down thumb sign and the spam link for that comment, it won't get shown by default.

I found his Chemical Hygiene (or lack off therein) Disgusting!

Why didn`t he just use 3 of those individual (disposable!) plastic pots and put the correct amount in each and Then mix (although the mixing is an issue in itself).
did you see him digging in with that plastic spoon as he put too much in! (2:24 count) what did he do off screen, put it back in the container!?
I see garbage like that and I want to give them a good Slapping!

they don`t Deserve to have Chemicals :(

Come on people, keep clicking the thumbs down sign... 4 more and his comments will be at -6 and then they won't get shown to anyone by default.

I've added too much to a comp before, I simple scooped it out and threw it away. What I find really funny is the "Shake it for about 5 minutes"... you think he's ever heard of a phenomenon called "electrostatic forces" (or if he even understands the word electrostatic).

And YT not wanting him to have water! shame on you, he could die... water is a chemical after all :P

Mmmmm. Yah, that seems fair... Personally though, I was hoping for mandatory castration or something that would protect society. His profile says he is 27, I would hope that by that age he would know not to ship explosives through the mail :(

His profile says he is 27,

What 27 convictions?

Here are a few that he could be done for in the UK, I'm guessing that he is not British by the quality of his English though. These might not be accurate as they were pulled out of a publication made in Jan 2006.

Manufacture of explosives without a licence. Current recommended term = Community service to 5 years.
Conspiracy to cause an explosion. Current recommended term = 5 years. Max term = indefinite tariff.
Conspiracy to cause death or injury by explosion. Current recommended term = 7 years. Max term = indefinite tariff.

Bye Bye Freedom!

I think I might call a friend who works within Interpol tomorrow!

For a start it's quite clear he's under 18. He is not going to be imprisoned because:

A ) He may make a sale but won't get caught, the Royal Mail postal service doesn't check what's inside
B ) The police force is incompetent and the GCHQ wouldn't batter an eyelid at him
C ) He probably won't make sales
D ) He's most likely aged 13-15

The only way he could even be caught is if one of us reported him, personally I believe that's too far, a stern warning and stating the punishment for such offenses would be sufficient.

Come, on Resix- 'mandatory castration'? a bit harsh, is'nt it? The only people who deserve castration are sex-offenders (pervs, paedos, rapists, and the like). Would you like your balls snipped-off?
I personally would warn him of the consequences of his foolishness.
Regarding punishment, well that's up to the law to decide.
If he gets done for manufacturing explosives, then I guess that we're all guilty of that offence- are you saying that every member on this forum has a licence for making gunpowder, etc? I do'nt think so!
As I understand it, blackpowder manufacture (in the UK) under 100grams does not require a licence.

EDIT: actually, he is not 27, but 20, according to his profile. Not that this makes any difference- 27 or 20, he is categorically and legally an Adult. Having seen his rather shoddy video, it seems that he is much younger than 20. Does he reside from the UK?

You said it!

On the manufacture note, you can only make 100g if it is to be used on site for experimental purposes (in short). To manufacture and sell without a licence is an offence, no matter how little you make.

There are far too many buffoons out there that drag our hobby through the dirt giving it a bad name! They need to be stopped somehow, for the safety of the people around them, not just themselves. Education is the way forward, but that takes a lot of time!

A ) He may make a sale but won't get caught, the Royal Mail postal service doesn't check what's inside

If a package explodes I'm sure they'll take it seriously!

B ) The police force is incompetent

Not really.

B ) GCHQ wouldn't batter an eyelid at him

Good reason for that, they don't deal with that sort of petty crime. They only deal with level 1 crime (and only sometimes at that), GCHQ is more geared towards the MOD and security services. There are other bodies that deal with criminal activity.

C ) He probably won't make sales

I'm willing to bet money he will and already has.

D ) He's most likely aged 13-15

Even more reason to stop him.

Can you not see that this stupid behaviour is not acceptable, it's not "just a kid having fun", it's an ignorant person that is likely to cause real harm. And he is not the only one.
