Hi,
I was thinking of attempting to make one of these machines, but I can’t find any good pictures or dimensions anywhere. Has anyone got one or used one, there are videos on the website (http://www.ctpyro.com/index.html) but I cant get very much from them.
I think it works by the motors driving at different speeds creating an off-axis spin on the shell(sorry for the rubbish discription) you're probably best looking for yourself lol. Any pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks
Sam

You put a small magnet in the fuse hole and locate it after the shell has been pasted with another magnet or a piece of steel etc, then cut out around the magnet.
I presume the passfire tube to the centre of the shell is already fitted, so i think you just slot the fuse in and bond around it with hot melt glue.

The two motors are computer controlled to create the spiral pattern. I don't know if it's possible to get a good pattern by just running the motors at constant but different speeds.

Super little find!

Way over designed, could be so simple and so much cheaper and better.

Where do they get half inch gummed tape?
