Also called "birthday candle sparklers" or "smokeless-fountain": basically a (relatively) non-toxic fountain that burns on top of the cake during celebrations.

Do you know any good formulas?

I believe most of these things are based on nitrocellulose with some metal filings (probably Ti) for sparks.
Trying to do something very beautiful but very dangerous very safely....

Yes. Namely, don't use any KNO3.
