please bring it back :) sometimes its annoying to see ones bad spelling mistakes :D and maybe its handy to edit/remove info on a comp that could be potentially dangerous/ unstable but you didn't know at the time?

Edits should be available at any time, yeah. Some posts- information posts- can change, and its helpful to edit stuff that is out of date. EG the date of a display, or start time might change. Its much easier and simpler to edit that, rather than posting another post on the thread saying " date changed " etc.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Who would have thought me piping up would change something

I do agree with Richard in a way though. It's frustrating at times if entire posts are removed, as it can ruin the flow of some threads but, it's nice to know it's there.

BTW, I got my membership card the other week Richard :D

Well I've noticed a few changes to the board, one in particular the 'About me' section, (great idea) but when you click on 'Topics' it shows 'There are no posts to display.' I've checked a few other members and get the same?

ADDED
Just checked one member and it shows his topics, is this something members have to set ? Also seems some members posts are not shown

Topics are those created / started by you. Posts are those made by you in any topic.

A suggestion

Setting the "remember me" option on the login screen from its current pre selected status to one where you have to actually click it to make the pc remember your password.

As it is now if you forget to un-click it then that pc always has your access details, not very secure me thinks.

I know that :P

I've started 3 topics now and none show up if I click on my profile, and a few other members who I know have started topics. When I click on topics I get this message- There are no posts to display.

This seems to be hit and miss with members I know have their own topics. Is anyone else getting this ???

I have a reasonably good hypothesis that the 'Topics' tab only displays very recent topics started by you. Topics older than X days ago do not appear. Maybe create a test topic and see if that appears. I will look into this one.

Likewise, my 'Topics' have just disappeared from my profile... there's a change or glitch somewhere.

Just started a new one. Rich is right, it's the old ones. It's only the "young ones" (sing it !!!!!) that show

In any case, you can still view a complete chronological list of posts or topics by you by selecting the options from the 'Options' drop down menu on the left hand section of your profile.
