The forum will always remain publicly available, I have always thought it in the best interests to do so.

A bit belated but many thanks to all those involved in running the convention a few weeks back. It was my first experience of UKPS having only joined that week and I really enjoyed it. The talks were really interesting, and the display, well as the videos show, it was amazing!!

Here a few extra pics from the day, and a video of Big G's wheel,

I'm looking forward to making the most of all the info in the forums, and hopefully future events too!

Thanks guys!
Bob.

Now then chaps.

There was allot of interesting information disseminated at the brief AGM at the end of the day. So the questions are now that some time has passed, has anything further been done yet? are we getting any closer? what is the next event, and when is it?

D

I think Richard mentioned maybe having a stand/stall at one of the firework championships (I think Stanford Hall) over the summer- any more news about that?

Yes, we really need to know soon about events over the summer. There was talk of us having a VIP tent at a major event. When? Where? Is this going to happen?

We all have holidays and other commitments and need to plan our diaries...

Currently discussions are under way to enable us to be represented at Stanford Hall.

Those who have already offered assistance I will contact in due course but for anyone else nearby or intending to travel there to view anyway I would appreciate hearing from you if you can assist with out stand.

Many thanks guys and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Just to clarify Cooperman's post, the Stanford Hall event is NOT the convention. As I said, venue of this to be confirmed shortly once Adam has confirmed with the owner of the site.

The Stanford Hall event is our first 'publicity' event. It's a major firework competition where we have permission to erect a small tent which will have literature, inert fireworks, posters etc and several of us on hand to explain to the public what we are about and maybe get a few new members - please don't get confused, full list of this years events will be up, hopefully within the next 10 days.
