Like the title says has anybody been successful with using Falling Leaf/Flying Fish Fuse as tails for their shells (like 4")?

Thanks

My experience with 3" plastic is that you can use effects fuse for timing but in the air the result isn't really worth it. You just see a flying dot as the shell lifts.

Cut the fuse into a few dozen 1" lengths (for flying fish) or 1/2" lengths (for falling leaf), BP slurry prime one end and PVA coat the other to inhibit. Mixed in with the burst it makes a great pistil for 3" glitter or streamer shells, adding some colour and action to the break.
