Hi all, have been reading through some posts as im currently finishing off my college final project and yes its another firing system. This forum so far has been a huge source of information and a great help to me but i cant find any information about regulations regarding the firing system itself rather than the fireworks. I have to include in my report any regulations or standards the system would have to conform to if it was to go on general sale. Iv done a quick search but found nothing as of yet, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tom

(ps sorry if iv posted this in the wrong area, wasnt sure what category it fell under)

I can't think that there's any specific regulations for firing equipment, so it will be the standard electrical safety/electromagnetic compatibility regulations that apply to all electrical equipment that is to be CE marked for sale in the EU.
Trying to do something very beautiful but very dangerous very safely....

I don't think there are any (at least not here or in the US), as above though. It has to conform to whatever electronic standards and may have other strings attached (RoHS)
