Does anyone recall any books or stories in which fireworks were the main or a significant theme? I'm fairly sure that there was a Secret Seven book based around fireworks! Its good fun to read- a nice nostalgic feel, from a time when fireworks weren't so generally "demonised" like they are now.

We did own a lot of them (Secret Seven books etc) at one point, but unfortunatly they have probably been given away a long time ago- shame. I also think that some books may have been editted or modified, which is a real shame.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Can remember that I read a book when I was around 7 or 8 called 'the firework makers daughter'. Can't really remember much about it though now...
