I shall be there as usual with EOS 30D at the ready! Looking forward to it. If anyone wants to swap numbers PM me. I usually watch near the cafe on the corner right at the end of the hoe (pretty much directly opposite the breakwater).

well seeing what the weather has been like today in Exeter, i bet there are some wet people in plymouth at the mo!! hopefully the weather will stay reasonably dry for ity to go ahead tonight. looking at leavign here in about hour - hour and a half (i'm busy tomorrow so wont see the final 3 :( )

If you are there you never know we might see each other (but wont know it!) reckonning is about 10,000 people there to watch!

well, after a chilly evening of waiting (had forgotten how cool the wind off the sea is!) we finally got to see the first 3 displays, loads of photos taken, shame cant get there for tonight (apparently specatators can text in votes, but couldnt find a number, not even in the program!!)

3 very excellent displays each was good on its own merits, but my judging would have gone with Star fireworks (1) dragon Fireworks (2) Skyburst (3)

Well the results are in, the top 3 teams are:

1. Pendragon
2. Star
3. Phoenix

Congratulations to Pendragon and a big well done to all 6 teams who took part in the event.
