I was just looking through my past feedback comments on ebay and came across something that made me giggle.
For some Iron oxide I sold the following feedback comment was given...
'Best afro-carribean persons talcum powder ever! Thank you. AAA+++!'
At first I thought it was a joke but thinking about it maybe it could be used as a talcum powder. For a black person
I imagine conventional talcum powder would leave white marks everywhere.
Has anyone heard of this 'off label' use for Iron oxide? Also i'm wondering what use he has found for the magnesium ribbon he bought.

Talcum powder can be died to basicly any colour you want, but using straight iron oxide as a replacement for talcum is just not the same.
Even by looking at the two you'll see one big difference. Talcum powder is very lightweight and does not clump together, while Iron oxide is relatively heavy and clumps together which makes it impossible to use in powdered pharmaceuticals as the flowing characteristics of it are just terrible.
