Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

After reading an article on Skylighter featuring blue strobe rockets, I have been enticed to make these myself, and perhaps I could adapt the formula to make some blue strobe comets. However, I have searched all manner of places for the blue strobe formula, but have been unable to find it. Can anyone help?
Also, if you know of any 'exotic' or unusual compositions (turquoise-coloured crackling dragon's eggs, for example), please list them.

It was right in the skylighter article.

Blue Strobe Rocket Pyrotechnic Formula
Ammonium perchlorate 63%
Copper oxide, black 10%
PVC powder 5%
GE II Silicone #5000 (bathroom caulk) 22%

I think you may have trouble getting people to give away their exotic and unusual formulas.

You will have a hard time trying to make strobing comets from the Silicone strobe formula.

Lots of blue strobes here though:

Some experimentation today again yielded some bizarre sparkling mixtures with paraffin wax and nitrate flashes and a small amount of black powder confined - has anyone else tried this as a delay?

I'll keep you guys updated.
