Hi all.

I recently listed in the 'what did you get' topic what I have so far for this year's firework party.

I still want to get a decent finale barrage, and a few 'filler' barrages. Does anyone have any recommendations? Preferably Men Shun as that's the only product my local hardware store sell. Just looking to improve to it. As you can see I have plenty of rockets so I'm really only interested in barrages now.

My local garden centre is selling the Nightstar 'Asteroid Attack' for around £30.
Would this make a decent finale?

Here's my list so far again:

Standard (Sainsburys):
2x Fission Cakes.
1x Daredevil Missile Cake.
1x Space Attack Cake.
1x High Fidelity rocket pack.

BrightStar:
1x Towering Inferno 49 shot barrage.
1x Polar Punisher Rockets.
1x 25 shot small fan barrage.
1x Sizzling Sentinels barrage.
1x other rockets

NightStar:
1x Barrage Blast pack.
1x 200 shot Missile Attack barrage.

Aldi:
1x Memphis rocket pack.

which garden center would this be ? no doubt the wrong end of the country LOL

as for a finale barrage it may help to say which menshun items they have as it would be no good mentioning half a dozen items if they havnt got them personally id consider firing 2 of those asteroid attacks together as the finale

Just my local farm shop. Can't get much more local! They sell a few Nightstar fireworks. The hardware store sell most of the larger Men Shun barrages I believe. A short list would be really good as I could have a few alternatives should they not have any in stock.

Asteroid Attack for THIRTY quid? If that is true, thats a bona fide 70% off the RRP.

You aren't too far from Bangers & Flash which do Vulcan and Sovereign which are very good quality (though not bargain basement priced) fireworks. There is also allstarfireworks - I have never dealt with them but they also have Vulcan, Sovereign, Cube etc.
